numbers and you can track the activity of each number independently

Greeting Options
Your UVM Virtual Office includes multiple greetings to be used for
different features of your service. You can at any time record
your greetings by phone, use one of our professionally recorded
generic greetings or have us record a
professional custom On-Hold and company
greeting. You can manually or automatically
switch between greetings without needing to re-record them for your
Day, Night, Weekend and out of office greetings.
Message Options

Caller's Message Options
You have the option to allow your callers to append or re-record their
messages to you.

Included Message Information
Messages will include the Caller-ID, Caller Name (if provided).
While listening to your messages, Caller-ID will played back to you
and you have the option of pressing a key and dialing that number
immediately.

Recover Erased Messages
If you erase a message, you will be able to recover that erased
message from your personal list of recently erased messages.

Permanently Keep Messages
You can tag some of your messages to keep them from being erased and
you will have access to them for the duration of your service.

Message Copy
If you have multiple voicemail boxes you can copy messages to other
voicemail boxes in your UVM Virtual Office.

line, cell phone, VoIP phone or even your computer.
Multiple types of transfers:

When the caller hears ringing, your phone rings.

Receive calls completely free over the Internet on your computer or IP
phone on a train, in your Office, at a Hotel, Library or anywhere in
the world.

The caller hears "Thank you for calling Acme Tool Company.

Auto Attendant Transfer
The caller is given a voice prompt for who or which department they
want.

Live Operator Assistance
Our operators can answer the calls with your company name and transfer
to one or more extensions or phone numbers. Or you can transfer
the calls to your own operator so they can transfer to the desired
department or person.

Serial or Parallel / Follow Me Transfers
Calls can be transferred simultaneously to multiple phone numbers and
the caller will be connected to the first line which accepts the call.
Or calls can be transferred to one phone number at a time until one of
the lines accepts the call.
Multiple ways to receive your transfers:

Screened Transfer
Prompts your callers for their name, you can accept the call, accept
and record the call, or have the caller leave a message.

Secured Transfer
Verifies your password and ensures that you are the only one answering
the call.

Selective Transfer
Allows specific callers to connect to you after entering a code.

Confirmed Transfer
Gives you the option to accept the call or have your caller leave a
message. (Also keeps the caller from hearing your cell phone
voicemail.)

Announced Transfer
When you pick up a transfer, you can hear that the caller chose the
sales department, for example.

Recorded Transfer
When you accept the call, the conversation can be recorded as a
message and/or be emailed to you.

Caller ID Flexibility
The Caller ID you receive on transferred calls can be set to the
Caller ID of the calling party, your UVM Virtual Office number or any
number you choose.

Transfer options while the caller is waiting to be
connected to you:

Customizable On-Hold Greeting/Music
Play a professional greeting advertising your products and promos
while your callers are on hold.

On-Hold press # to leave a message
Your caller can leave a message while on hold instead of just hanging
up.

On-Hold Timeout
Determine the maximum time your callers will be put On-Hold for you to
answer before they are prompted to leave a message or transfer to a
different extension.
Transfer options after you accept the call:

Put Caller On-Hold
Press * while in a call to put caller on hold. And press * again
to remove from hold and continue conversation.

Call Re-Transfer
Calls can be transferred to a different extension or phone number
after the call is answered.
Transfer options if you do not accept the call or
are not available:

Voicemail Usage
You can choose to have the caller leave a message on your transferred
phone line or have UVM Virtual Office take the for you.

Custom No-Answer Greeting
You callers can hear a custom no-answer greeting that can personalize
for the party they are attempting to reach.

Custom Busy Greeting
Your callers can hear a custom greeting indicating they should call
back at a later time.

Call Queuing
Will put the callers On-Hold and transfer them when your line becomes
available.

No need for the expense a dedicated fax line, use the
same number for voice and fax or choose a dedicated fax number. Once

Receive Faxes
You can retrieve your faxes via web, email and fax machine from
anywhere in the globe. Also you can forward any fax to another
fax machine.

You can record your conversations when you receive
transferred calls, Dial-Out phone numbers and in conference calls.
You have the option to generate warning beeps. Recorded
conversations become messages in your voicemail box as well as
retrieving them via email or through our web site.

Voicemail numbers are usually not listed. This option is available in
select areas.

Your callers can choose to be connected to a
particular person or department at an extension. For example a
caller can dial 1 for sales or ext.256 for Mr. Smith. Your transfer
profile can have multiple simultaneous destinations. And with
Announced Transfers you can know which option they chose when call are
transferred to you to be answered accordingly. You can program the phone
buttons 0-9, * and # to do a variety of actions including:

with its own passcode and can perform all the actions of the main

in a variety of combinations.

Receive Caller ID, Caller's Name, Date/Time and optionally an

Receive a call on your land line, cell phone, VoIP phone or your
computer when you get a voice message. You can even listen to
your messages from the same call. UVM Virtual Office will
deliver the notification with the number of retries and intervals of
your choice and you can specify which days and hours you will
receive the notification if for instance you do not want to be
notified in the middle of the night. Also you can choose to only
be notified for urgent messages.

During business hours our operators can answer the
calls with your company name and the callers can ask to be transferred
to any department or person. Our operator can transfer the caller
to one or more phone number or to a voicemail to take a message.

If you choose to send the caller to your voicemail
to take a message instead of transferring to you, UVM Virtual Office
can generate imitation ringing tones before your voicemail answers so
the caller will think they have been transferred to your desk but you
were not available and will get your voicemail and private greeting.

You can can specify only certain callers to be
answered by Live Operator or exclude certain callers from
reaching the operator.

You can have a custom announcement before our
operator answers the call. For example: "Thank you for calling
United Voicemail, please hold for the next available representative".

Group Calling, also known as Call Blasting or Call
Broadcasting enables you to send pre-recorded voice messages to one or
more phone numbers. You can use this feature for marketing,
announcement to members, post cards, invitations, collections and
appointment reminders.
Our system can detect answering
machines ensure your complete message is delivered in its entirety.

On-Busy Redial - When a number you dial is
busy or does not answer, you can press a key to have the call
redialed.

anywhere in the world with Internet access you can call home or
anywhere else free or at a fraction of the cost of using a telephone.
Additionally you can enter any Caller-ID you want to send with each
call.

It will take only a few seconds to create a call with
as many as 32 participants.

recording in your voicemail and optionally receive it via email.
