How do I change my passcode or pin number?

To change your passcode by internet:

    1. Click on 'Settings' tab.

    2. Under 'Change Passcode' section:

    3. Type in your current passcode.

    4. Type in your new passcode.

    5. Type in your new passcode again to confirm.

    6. Click on 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

To change your passcode by phone:
 

1. Call your virtual number.

        2. Press * and passcode.

        3. Press 3 to access the setup menu.

        4. Press 1 to change your passcode.

How do I set up my pager, text messaging, or phones to receive alerts and notifications?

All of your alert and notification needs can be set up in the 'Settings' tab.

    1. Click on 'Settings' tab, then:

        - For Phone notifications, click on 'Notification by Phone'

        - For Pager notifications, click on 'Notification by Email/Text'

        - For Text/STS notifications, click on 'Notification by Email/Text'

        - For Email notifications, click on 'Notification by Email/Text'

Activity and Usage Reports

 

• What is the Activity and Usage Report and how do I view it?

The Activity and Usage Reports allow you to view details about the calls made to and from your number. To view the Call Detail Report, do the following:

  1. Click on 'My Account' tab.
  2. Click 'Activity and Usage Reports' below it on the navigation bar.

• What details about each call can I see? 

In the Activity and Usage page, you can view two types of reports: Activity Report and Minute/Charges Report. The Activity Report will show all activities that were taken through your virtual number. It will show the following information about each activity made to or from your virtual number for the specified Report period:

  1. Date - the date that the call was placed.
  2. Time - the time that the call was placed.
  3. Activity - the type of activity that was made.
  4. Phone number - the phone number that you called/faxed or the phone number of the person who called your virtual number.

The Minute/Charges Report will show you all activities from your virtual number that used either your minutes or activities that you were charged for.

  1. Your virtual number - in case you have multiple numbers.
  2. Date - the date that the call was placed.
  3. Time - the time that the call was placed.
  4. Activity - the type of activity that was made.
  5. Surcharge - amount of minutes or charges made.

• Can I sort the calls in the Activity/Usage Report?

When the Activity or Minute/Charge Report is initially displayed, it is ordered by date with oldest calls at the top of the list. You can sort the calls by other ways:

If you want the displayed report ordered by date with newest calls at the top of the list

    1. Check the box next to 'Sort Last to First'

    2. Click on 'Show Report'

 

If you want to see all activities related to a phone number,

    1. Check the box next to: 'Show only activities related to this telephone number'

    2. Type in your desired phone number

    3. Click on 'Show Report'

 

If you want to see all activities on certain date,

    1. Check the box next to 'Show only activities on the date'

    2. Type in your desired date

    3. Click on 'Show Report'

• How can I save this report in my computer?

To save a report,

 

    1. Right-Click anywhere inside the report box

    2. Select 'Select All'

    3. Open any word processor (Notepad, Wordpad, Word, etc.)

    4. Open a New Document

    5. Right-Click on the new document

    6. Select 'Paste'

    7. You can now save or print your report

Trial Accounts

United Voicemail trial give you 7 days to test-drive all features of the Virtual Office (except long distance and international dialouts). United Voicemail will give you unlimited local dial-out usage for you to try out all of our features. At the end of a trial, you must sign up for a service plan or your account will be terminated. If you do sign up later, you keep your virtual number and PIN.

What happens when the Trial is over?
At any time before the end of a Trial, you must sign up for a service plan or your account will be terminated and you will lose access to your virtual number. If you sign up for our Standard Package or Virtual Office, you keep your virtual number and PIN.
